The Blogging Continues

I just realized that I was not allowing people to comment without being a registerred user -- sorry Mark and Diane, I think I told you otherwise. That has now been changed, and hopefully that doesn't mean I'll get bizarre comments from anonymous creepies:-)
Today was Matt's last day of work before the wedding. As of this week, the only work I did was teaching - same for next week. We've got LOTS of stuff to get done next week, of course. We're looking forward to our friends and family being here -- arrivale begin Wednesday!
Today we hit some local art galleries for gifts. There are some really WONDERFUL artists in Bloomington. We got to talking to a weaver, married to a potter. The weaver also owns the local yarn shop and used to run a local gallery where I have a job offer for the fall. Ah, small towns :-) She also knows the people at the other job I've been offered, so she had some great insights.
Oh! I've now talked to my friend Saskia, who is now home in The Netherlands after being in the UK for 6 months, a couple of times. Her accent is adorably quirky. Her English is perfect, but it's now a Dutch/German/"Yank"/British mix. Adorable. She passed on hellos from our friend Annick, who currently lives in Zurich and will also be coming to the wedding. Awesome. People are coming to our wedding! How awesome is that?
Anyhow, lots to do, possibly including a very sad trip to Michigan Sunday/Monday. If anyone's reading this thing - you can now comment without registerring :-)
