Advanced for a Wedding Couple

This morning we had a dance lesson with a new instructor who helped us refine our first dance a little and taught us to dip (which, incidentally, is not nearly as scary as I thought it would be). Our instructor, Matt, told us that we were doing really well, and had learned a more difficult routine than he would normally teach his wedding couples. We agree that we wouldn't want to do anything more difficult...and we'll have to see what happens with my gown on...we may regret our "advanced" wedding coupleness. Basically, there are some VERY fast turns at the end of which Matt needs to stop me from falling over from my own momentum. Well...I haven't fallen yet...but add several pounds of fabric and I fear my momentum will be increased more than either of us expects. We shall see! Good thing there is no videographer to document any falls...
Matt's plan is that we'll practice with me wearing my rather heavy shearling coat. Not a bad idea!
