Sbux Ben

I should probably start by stating that I'm working at Starbucks now :-)
The fact that the number we are to call if we have questions about benefits is effectively "Sbux Ben" is for some reason amusing to me.
Anyhow, it's going to be a busy summer! I'm working 20-30 hours/week at Starbucks, plus getting myself back in flute-shape, plus work on The Heart Project, plus......*heraldic trumpet*....I've got to get in shape for a half marathon I'm running on September 8th! Woohoo!
Matt and I are also excited to be taking a trip to Oberlin in a week! While we're there, we'll see a few old friend, visit some old haunts, I'll hear an old student play, and on Friday Monica and I are having a get-together for Heart Project volunteers from the past few years!
So, that's what's going on with us. Oh -- and we're getting some furniture from our friend Jenn and Nathan -- they're moving to California for Nathan's new job with Google (woohoo!!!). So, from "Rahn's Furniture Gallery" (Jenn sent us an "invoice" and everything!), we've got a couple bookshelves, a coffee table and two end tables, and we're soon getting a great kitchen table and chairs and a queen-sized bed!!! We'll soon have to go get ourselves some new sheets, a bed spread, etc. As we're still in the process of sprucing up the place, I'm excited to expand on what we'd ideally like the bedroom to look like. One of these days I might just go out and get a bucket of paint, too!!
Alright, not really a lot to re-count today. I'm off to clean up a bit before I go to bed!
